Scope and definitions

In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean IX Labs. "You" and "your" mean the person using our product.

Our product is Ingy, a Telegram bot that drafts social media posts from a link, a video, or plain instructions. Our website is ingy.app and the bot is @IngyAppBot.

This policy stands on its own. You do not need to read any other document to understand what you may and may not do with Ingy.

1. What this policy covers

1.1 This policy applies to everyone who uses Ingy, on the free trial and on any paid plan.

1.2 By using Ingy you agree to these rules. If you do not agree, do not use Ingy.

1.3 These rules apply to three things:

  • the sources you submit to Ingy (article URLs, video links, uploaded video files, voice notes, and written instructions);
  • the instructions you give Ingy; and
  • what you do with the output.

2. How Ingy works, and why that matters

2.1 Everything happens inside a Telegram conversation. Your Ingy account is your Telegram account.

2.2 You can give Ingy an article URL, a video link (for example YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or X), an uploaded video file, or plain instructions with no source at all. Ingy fetches articles and transcribes video and voice.

2.3 Ingy returns one copyable plain-text message.

2.4 Publishing is manual. Ingy never posts to any channel. You copy the text and you paste it wherever you choose to publish.

2.5 This means you decide what gets published, where, and when. You are the publisher. That is the basis for most of the rules below.

2.6 Ingy also learns a "style profile" from your own finalised posts, so that later drafts sound more like you.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

You must not use Ingy to do, produce, or assist with any of the following.

3.1 Disinformation and false reporting

3.1.1 You must not use Ingy to create disinformation or fabricated news.

3.1.2 You must not present Ingy output as factual reporting unless you have verified the facts yourself.

3.1.3 You must not use Ingy to fabricate quotes, statistics, sources, studies, events or endorsements.

3.2 Impersonation

3.2.1 You must not impersonate a real person, a publication, a news outlet, a brand, or a public body.

3.2.2 You must not use Ingy to produce content that falsely appears to come from, or to be authorised by, someone else.

3.2.3 You must not use another person's name, likeness, voice or identity in a way that would mislead readers about who is speaking.

3.3 Sources you have no right to use

You are responsible for having the right to submit whatever you feed into Ingy. You must not submit:

3.3.1 Paywalled or access-restricted content, including content you obtained by sharing, bypassing or circumventing a paywall.

3.3.2 Content behind a login, including subscriber-only newsletters, private groups, member areas and internal systems.

3.3.3 Content whose site terms forbid automated access, scraping, crawling or automated retrieval.

3.3.4 Content where the publisher has signalled a machine-readable reservation of rights against text and data mining. Examples of such signals include rights reservations of the kind contemplated by Article 4 of EU Directive 2019/790 (the Copyright in the Digital Single Market Directive), robots.txt directives, and Content Signals or similar machine-readable declarations.

3.3.5 Confidential information, trade secrets, or personal data that you are not entitled to process or disclose.

3.3.6 Material that infringes anyone's copyright, database right, trade mark or other rights.

3.3.7 If you are not sure you have the right to use a source, do not submit it.

3.4 Harassment, hate and violence

3.4.1 Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, doxxing or targeted abuse of any person or group.

3.4.2 Hate speech, or content that demeans or attacks people on the basis of a protected characteristic such as race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or age.

3.4.3 Incitement to violence, glorification of violence, or content that promotes, supports or facilitates terrorism or violent extremism.

3.4.4 Content promoting self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.

3.5 Sexual content and minors

3.5.1 Sexual or sexually explicit content.

3.5.2 Any content that involves, sexualises, endangers or targets minors. This is an absolute prohibition with no exceptions. Suspected child sexual abuse material will be reported to the relevant authorities.

3.6 Deception on high-stakes topics

3.6.1 Content designed to deceive people about elections, voting, candidates or democratic processes.

3.6.2 Content designed to deceive people about public health, medical treatment or medicines.

3.6.3 Content designed to deceive people about financial matters, including investment, crypto-asset promotion, pump-and-dump schemes and fraudulent offers.

3.6.4 Presenting Ingy output on any of these topics as authoritative — as legal, medical, financial or professional advice — without meaningful human review by someone competent to give it.

3.7 Spam and platform manipulation

3.7.1 Spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or mass-produced low-value content published at volume.

3.7.2 Operating channels in bulk in an automated way using Ingy output.

3.7.3 Engagement manipulation: fake accounts, bought engagement, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, vote or ranking manipulation.

3.8 Attacks on the service

3.8.1 Reverse engineering, decompiling or attempting to derive the source code, prompts, models or internal logic of Ingy.

3.8.2 Scraping, crawling or automating access to Ingy other than through the normal Telegram interface.

3.8.3 Circumventing, resetting or otherwise defeating quota limits, usage limits or rate limits.

3.8.4 Creating multiple or duplicate accounts to extend the free trial or to obtain access you have not paid for.

3.8.5 Probing, penetration testing, overloading or interfering with the service or its infrastructure.

3.8.6 Using Ingy output, or the service, to train, fine-tune, evaluate or develop a competing model or a competing product.

3.9 Unlawful use generally

3.9.1 Anything unlawful under the law of England and Wales, or under the law of any country where you use Ingy or publish its output.

4. Client work, resale and white-labelling

We want to be precise here, because a lot of legitimate users work for clients.

4.1 What is permitted

4.1.1 Using Ingy to produce content for your clients is permitted. If you are an agency, a freelancer, a consultant, a ghostwriter or a social media manager, you may use Ingy to draft posts for the people you work for, and you may charge those clients for your services.

4.1.2 You may keep separate style profiles for different client voices, within the limits of your plan.

4.1.3 You may tell your clients that you use AI tools, including Ingy, in your workflow.

4.2 What is prohibited

4.2.1 Reselling access to Ingy. You must not sell, sublicense, rent, lend or share your Ingy access, or let others generate through your account as if it were their own.

4.2.2 White-labelling Ingy. You must not present Ingy, or a wrapper around Ingy, as your own product or under your own brand.

4.2.3 Packaging Ingy's output as a standalone service or product. You must not build a service whose substance is "send us a link and we send you back an Ingy draft" — that is reselling the tool rather than doing the work.

4.2.4 Building a competing product on top of Ingy, or using Ingy as the engine behind another content-generation offering.

4.3 The line, in one sentence

4.3.1 You may sell your work, in which Ingy is one of the tools you use. You may not sell Ingy.

4.3.2 One paid account is for one person's use. If you need multiple seats for your team, contact [email protected].

5. You are the publisher, and AI transparency obligations are yours

5.1 Ingy produces a draft. Nothing is published until you personally copy it and post it. Ingy never posts to any channel.

5.2 You are the publisher of everything you post. You decide whether the draft is accurate, whether it is fair, whether it is legal, and whether to publish it at all.

5.3 You are responsible for reviewing the output before publishing. AI-generated text can be wrong, out of date, or misleading, and can misrepresent a source it was given.

5.4 Labelling and transparency obligations are yours, not ours. Where you publish AI-generated text — particularly on matters of public interest — without meaningful human review, any obligation to disclose, label or otherwise be transparent about the fact that the content is AI-generated falls on you as the publisher. We do not discharge it for you and we cannot: we never see where you publish.

5.5 As context, the transparency obligations of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) apply from 2 August 2026. Whether and how they apply to your publishing depends on your role, your audience and your jurisdiction. Assess that for yourself, and take your own advice if you are unsure. We do not advise you on it.

5.6 You must apply any labelling, disclosure or advertising rules that apply to you — for example rules on marked advertising, paid promotion, or professional advice — to anything you publish from Ingy output.

6. Telegram

6.1 Ingy runs entirely inside Telegram. You must comply with Telegram's own terms of service and rules in addition to this policy.

6.2 Telegram is a separate company. We do not control it and we are not responsible for it.

6.3 If Telegram suspends, restricts, bans or deletes your account, your channel or your content, that is not our responsibility and it does not create any refund right. You will not be able to use Ingy without a Telegram account, and we cannot restore your Telegram access.

6.4 If Telegram changes, restricts or withdraws the bot functionality Ingy depends on, we may have to change or discontinue the service.

7. Monitoring and moderation

7.1 We do not pre-moderate the output Ingy produces. Drafts are generated and delivered to you privately.

7.2 We have no general obligation to monitor what you submit or what you do with the output, and we do not undertake to do so.

7.3 Automated filters may block some requests. Those filters are imperfect. A request that is not blocked is not approved by us, and is not our endorsement of what you do with it.

7.4 We may act when we become aware of a possible breach — whether through a report, a legal notice, a payment or abuse signal, or our own observation. Acting on one matter does not oblige us to look for others.

7.5 Nothing in this section makes us the author, editor or publisher of anything you post.

8. Reporting abuse

8.1 To report a breach of this policy, email [email protected].

8.2 Please include: what you are reporting, where you saw it, any links or screenshots, the Telegram username involved if you know it, and how we can contact you.

8.3 We review reports in the order we receive them and prioritise anything involving minors, credible threats of harm, or terrorism. We may not be able to tell you the outcome of an individual report.

9. What we can do about breaches

9.1 If we believe you have breached this policy, we may take any of the following steps, in any order, and we choose which:

9.1.1 Warning — we tell you what is wrong and ask you to stop.

9.1.2 Restriction — we limit specific features, source types or volumes.

9.1.3 Suspension — we suspend your access, immediately and at our sole discretion, with or without prior warning.

9.1.4 Termination — we close your account permanently.

9.2 No refund. Where we suspend or terminate your account for breach of this policy, you are not entitled to a refund of any amount, including for the remaining part of a paid period and any unused quota.

9.3 We may also:

  • refuse to process particular sources or requests;
  • delete content generated in breach of this policy;
  • report unlawful content and the associated account details to the police, regulators or other competent authorities, and cooperate with them; and
  • preserve relevant records where we are required to, or where we reasonably believe we may need them for legal proceedings.

9.4 We act immediately and without notice where we believe there is a risk of serious harm, a legal requirement to act, content involving minors, or ongoing unlawful activity.

9.5 We are not obliged to give reasons for a suspension where doing so would prejudice an investigation, breach a legal duty, or risk harm to someone.

9.6 If you think we got it wrong, email [email protected] and explain why. We will look again. Our decision after that review is final as a matter of this policy, which does not affect any legal right you have.

10. Your responsibility for what you feed in and what you put out

10.1 You confirm that you have the right to submit every source you give to Ingy, and the right to use the resulting draft in the way you intend.

10.2 You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and consequences of everything you publish.

10.3 If a third party brings a claim against us because of a source you submitted or content you published, we may pass on the reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.

11. Changes to this policy

11.1 We may update this policy as the product, the law or the threat landscape changes. The version number and effective date at the top will change.

11.2 Continuing to use Ingy after an update means you accept the updated policy.

12. Contact and governing law

12.1 Abuse reports, takedown notices and legal notices: [email protected], or IX Labs, 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom.

12.2 Everything else, including billing: [email protected].

12.3 This policy is governed by the law of England and Wales.

12.4 If you are a consumer, nothing in this policy removes or limits your statutory rights.
